As a seasonal organization, HKC hires 90 or so workers that provide maintenance and janitorial services, aquatics supervision and security to ensure we can carry out our mission to provide a safe environment and meet the needs of the camps who call HKC home. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE SENIOR MAINTENANCE MANAGER The Senior Maintenance Manager supports the Property Manager in the overall operation and upkeep of the HKC facility, with a strong focus on preventive maintenance of landscaping equipment, small engines and vehicles, such as ATVs, UTVs, golf carts and trucks. This role is responsible for assisting with landscaping and field management, as well as the routine inspection, servicing, and repair of buildings and grounds. There is a cycle to the work based on the season (winterizing in the fall, planning and deep cleaning or repair in the winter, preparing for camp in the spring, and maintaining in the summer) but there are always regular tasks to be done regardless of the season. Each week brings its own challenges, and adjustments will always need to be made based upon the weather. As a hands-on position, on any given day the Senior Maintenance Manager might be mowing, painting, repairing a vehicle, handling a water or sewage issue, removing trash or blowing leaves and using such equipment as backhoe, tractor, skid steer or ride-on deck mower. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and/or carpentry, is a plus. Also required is a valid driver's license. Summary: The Front Desk Concierge maintains a professional and courteous environment for residents by providing a high level of customer service and sense of safety for residents. The Concierge monitors all visitors, packages, and maintains the lobby and main entrance appearance. The Concierge will report to the Facility Manager. Job Description The Associate Project Manager (APM) works with the Community Development and Maintenance teams to manage small and medium-sized capital improvement projects across CHDC’s 27 buildings.
