Join our healthcare team and make a difference in maternal and newborn care.\n \n\n Estimated weekly salary: $1,710 - $1,830. \n\nTravel Nursing Job Details\n\n • Location: Brooklyn, Maryland (21225) – Convenient to Baltimore healthcare jobs, dining, and parks\n, • Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel RN)\n, • Employment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract\n, • Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D)\n, • Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)\n, • Hours per Week: 36\n, • Start Date: October 28, 2025\n, • End Date: January 27, 2026\n, • Facility: Magnet Certified Hospital\n, • Scrubs Provided\n, • First Time Travel Nurses Welcome\n, • Flu Vaccine Required (no exemptions)\n\n\nLabor & Delivery RN Qualifications\n\n, • Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (2 years may be considered)\n, • Charge nurse and preceptor experience required\n, • Active RN license in Maryland or compact state (multi-state nursing license)\n, • BLS and NRP certifications required\n, • Intermediate AWHONN required\n, • C-EFM certification through NCC required, or must register for C-EFM during compliance or within first two weeks\n, • Preferred: ACLS, STABLE, Advanced AWHONN, C-EFM through NCC\n, • Two supervisor references required\n, • Must be able to circulate for C-sections and have LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) experience\n, • Experience in Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum, and Couplet Care required\n, • Proficiency in sterile vaginal exams and triage preferred\n, • Experience in Baby Friendly hospital settings highly preferred\n\n\nLabor & Delivery RN Responsibilities\n\n, • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and couplet care\n, • Circulate for C-sections and assist with high-risk deliveries in a clinical setting\n, • Perform and interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) using external and internal monitors\n, • Float to Postpartum/Couplet Care and feeder/grower assignments in Level II NICU as needed\n, • Support breastfeeding, lactation, and provide patient education to new mothers\n, • Administer medications and manage IVs, including magnesium sulfate therapy and Pitocin\n, • Conduct newborn assessments and provide care for neonates, adolescents, and adults\n, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including IV teams, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy\n, • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including flu vaccination requirements\n GHR Healthcare Job ID #412414.
