Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Leave of Absence Specialist who will be responsible for administering and managing all employee leave programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies. This role serves as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, and HR partners regarding leave eligibility, documentation, timelines, and return-to-work coordination. Responsibilities: • Administer and manage leave programs including FMLA, ADA, disability (short-term and long-term), parental leave, state-specific leaves, personal leaves, and workers' compensation., • Guide employees through the entire leave process-from initial request through return to work-ensuring accurate documentation, timely communication, and policy compliance., • Track and update leave statuses, documentation, deadlines, and pay/benefit impacts within HRIS systems., • Coordinate accommodations under ADA, including interactive process meetings, documentation review, and partnership with managers., • Serve as the primary contact for employee questions related to leave, eligibility, required paperwork, and next steps., • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and third-party administrators to ensure accurate processing, reporting, and case resolution., • Maintain compliance with federal and state leave laws (FMLA, ADA, PFL, DBL, STD/LTD, WC) and company policies., • Support return-to-work processes, including modified duty, scheduling accommodations, and reintegration planning., • Maintain detailed and confidential employee records with accuracy and consistency., • Identify process improvements and support HR initiatives as needed.Qualifications:, • 2+ years of experience in leave of absence administration or benefits/HR operations., • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and multi-state leave regulations., • Experience with HRIS systems (UKG, Workday, ADP, or similar)., • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters., • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously., • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and tracking., • Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, managers, and HR partners.Hours:, • 9:00am-5:00pm, • Monday through FridayWorksite Type:, • 100% in officeEmployment Type:, • Temporary/ContractAt LHH Recruitment Solutions, our colleagues specialize in eight different practice areas including Human Resources.
