Why This is Different If you've worked in a PHP, an IOP, community mental health, or an inpatient unit, you know what the standard clinical experience looks like. Amae was built to be different. For the people we serve and for the clinicians who serve them. An integrated team, not a referral network. You work daily alongside psychiatrists, therapists, primary care providers, dietitians, and community health workers, all under one roof, all sharing the same patients. Your colleagues are in the hallway, not on the other end of a fax. Practice at the top of your license. Real clinical depth with a population that demands it. Manageable caseloads. No fifteen-minute med checks. And technology built specifically for this work. Our clinical tools, decision-support systems, and data infrastructure were designed by our engineers and scientists alongside our clinicians. Not repurposed from a primary care EHR. Learn from the best. We have a formal education partnership with Mass General Brigham. Our clinicians get ongoing training, clinical supervision, and mentorship rooted in the latest evidence for severe mental illness. Connected to academic medicine without the bureaucracy of working inside it. Shape the science. We are developing precision medicine for SMI, designing novel outcomes frameworks, and conducting frontier research for this population. Your clinical work generates data that feeds into our science, and our science feeds back into your care. This is not a setting where research happens somewhere else. Clinics designed for the work and the people. Our spaces are intentionally designed, warm, and built to feel unlike a typical mental health clinic. The environment matters for our members, and it matters for the clinicians who spend their days in it. A career you can sustain. Burnout in this field is a systems problem, not a personal failing. We built a model with the team structure, caseload design, and infrastructure to do this work well over time and ensure you thrive. What We're Building As a clinician at Amae, you are not adjacent to this work. You are essential to it. • A national care delivery model for the highest-acuity patients in behavioral health., • Precision medicine for SMI. Individualized treatment informed by multimodal clinical, behavioral, and social data., • A clinical operating system that puts longitudinal data, real-time patient signals, and purpose-built tools into a single decision layer for care teams., • Frontier science and measurement: defining and validating the outcomes frameworks that this field has never had. Hospitalizations avoided, days stable, functional improvement, and more. Competitive base salary reflecting role, level, and geography. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. Parental leave and programs built around well-being. We'll share specifics during the interview process. If you want to practice at the top of your license, learn from the best in academic medicine, contribute to research that is defining a new field, and do it all inside a team that was actually built for this work, we'd like to talk. More About Amae:'Amae', pronounced 'Ah-mai', is a Japanese concept meaning the need to be in good favor with, and the ability to depend on, the people around oneself. It reflects our core belief that a strong support system is essential to build people up, strengthen their will to carry on and even to thrive in life. This mentality applies across our whole company – from the patients we serve to the team we're building. WHAT WE VALUE We center care in all we do. Empathy is not a brand value. It's how we make clinical decisions, build products, and treat each other. We challenge convention. The existing system is the problem. We question it, we test alternatives, and we move with urgency when something works. We take the work seriously, not ourselves. High standards and humanity are not in tension. We hold a hard bar for quality while leaving room for humor and levity. Your job isn't done until the job is done. We close gaps, we follow through, and we don't hide behind titles or org charts. We win together and fail together. We own outcomes as a team. We learn fast. We don't do blame. We hustle with humility. Speed matters. So does integrity. We assume best intent and stay grounded in the mission.Amae Health is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all applicants from every background and life experience to apply.
