Job Description Job Title: Electrical Assembly III (1st Shift) Job Description Join our team as an Electrical Assembly III, where you will assist in the mechanical and electrical builds of customer products. This position requires proficiency in reading and understanding wiring schematics and diagrams, particularly point-to-point wiring. You will be working with crimping, pulling, terminating, and installing electrical harnesses and sub-assemblies. Responsibilities • Perform electrical and mechanical assembly and panel wiring while adhering to safety, quality, and customer specifications., • Assemble finished units according to customer specifications, including pulling wire, crimping, installing, and testing wiring and wiring harnesses using voltmeters and ohmmeters., • Replace parts on tools as needed and according to schedule., • Resolve routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels., • Work under direct, close supervision with frequent output monitoring., • Follow detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids, diagrams, and schematics., • Ensure that the assigned area is clean and organized per 5S standards., • Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy., • Coordinate with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish., • Keep inventory personnel informed of spare parts inventory and locations for ease of order fulfillments., • 1+ years of experience in electrical wiring and assembly, including wiring schedules, schematics, or visual aids., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, graphs, and schematics., • Proficiency in using hand and power tools., • Experience in electrical testing and electronics assembly., • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions., • Schooling experience in lieu of hands-on experience from institutions like TCAT, Delta Tech, Moore Tech, or Southwest., • Must take and pass an assessment. Work Environment Work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment within a production setting. Teams consist of 5-7 technicians per work cell, collaborating to assemble units per specification. Shifts are from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory Saturday availability if scheduled. Overtime is available, but work does not exceed 58 hours per week. Training occurs on-site in a classroom setting, focusing on safety, electrical wiring, and standard protocols. We provide all necessary tools and materials for assembly. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
