Among Colorado's five oldest continuously operating businesses, the Denver Metro Chamber is uniquely positioned to promote business growth, economic development, strong public policy, and community stewardship in the Metro Denver region and throughout Colorado About the role: As the Customer Success Manager on our Business Development team, you will play a key role in ensuring our members, especially small businesses, receive exceptional service and real value from their Chamber membership. You will manage the ongoing relationship with members after a sale is closed, allowing our sellers to focus on new opportunities while you deliver an outstanding customer experience that drives renewals, retention, and engagement. You are a people person who thrives on helping others succeed. You will connect with members to ensure they understand and use their benefits, feel supported, and stay engaged in Chamber programs. You will also be the team’s organizational backbone, maintaining our Salesforce CRM, assisting with outreach and reporting, and supporting the VP of Sales and the Business Development team with a proactive, solutions-focused approach. This role directly supports that mission by helping small businesses thrive and stay connected to the resources, advocacy, and community that fuel their success. Provide exceptional member service by maintaining regular contact with Chamber members, answering questions, offering guidance, sharing opportunities, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the year. • Engage and retain members by building meaningful relationships and helping small businesses see the full value of their Chamber membership., • Lead new member onboarding through the My Chamber member portal to ensure each member is fully set up, understands their benefits, and knows how to engage with the Chamber., • Support the sales team by seamlessly transitioning new members from closed deals into active, thriving relationships you will manage., • Maintain accurate member data in Salesforce, including new member onboarding, renewals, cancellations, billing corrections, and contact updates., • Create and maintain reports and provide administrative support to the Business Development team., • Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to billing, events, website access, and benefits, ensuring timely, professional, and personalized responses., • Represent the Chamber at programs and events such as Member Orientations, Business After Hours, committee meetings, and other events to build relationships and increase visibility with members., • Collaborate across teams to relay member feedback, identify service improvements, and support broader customer experience goals., • Assist with communication and outreach, including writing professional letters and emails to members and ensuring website and collateral materials are current and accurate. Minimum Qualifications / Requirements: • At least 1 year of experience in customer success, account management, or a related customer-facing role., • Demonstrated passion for small business and a genuine interest in helping members succeed., • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both in person and via phone and email., • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through., • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience using Salesforce., • A positive, collaborative mindset and commitment to outstanding service. Working Conditions: Business office environment with professional work attire required in the office and for attendance of all programs, events and/or department meetings. Must be able to travel efficiently to off-site meeting locations throughout the city if required. This individual will need to work outside the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to help staff events. These off-hour occasions are typically planned and known in advance. Physical Requirements: Physical job requirements include sitting at a desk (70% of the time); lifting up to 30 pounds may be required to perform the job duties.
