The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and compassionate Clinical Director to lead our adolescent treatment program for girls. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and overseeing all clinical services, ensuring exceptional patient care, and fostering a high-performing clinical team. The ideal candidate is a licensed clinician with a proven track record in youth residential settings, a strong commitment to quality, and a passion for making a profound difference in the lives of vulnerable youth. Position Summary The Clinical Director provides strategic and operational oversight for all clinical programming within our residential facility. This includes direct supervision of licensed and unlicensed clinical staff, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards (CARF, Ohio MHAS), and maintaining the highest quality of clinical care. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive program innovation, ensure effective crisis management, foster a therapeutic milieu, and contribute directly to patient care as needed. Key Responsibilities Required Qualifications Education: Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related behavioral health field from an accredited institution. Licensure: Current, active, and unrestricted clinical license in the state of Ohio (e.g., LISW-S, LPCC-S, Psychologist, or equivalent supervisory designation where applicable). Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of progressive clinical experience within a behavioral health setting, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Experience in residential treatment for adolescents is highly preferred. Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in assessing, diagnosing, and managing co-occurring mental health disorders, trauma, and behavioral challenges in youth. Certifications: Active CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire). Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Medical Record (EMR)/Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Clinical Acumen: Strong clinical judgment, crisis management, and risk assessment skills, particularly in adolescent behavioral health. Organizational Prowess: Superior organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and compliance. Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to build strong, positive relationships with colleagues, residents, and external partners.
