Job Description Part-Time – 21 hours per week $18.5 per hour Evening Shift Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7 hours pay Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Evening Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our apartment community. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and prospective tenants. In addition to cleaning responsibilities, this position includes light property management support duties, assisting the on-site management team with maintaining community standards and reporting maintenance or safety concerns. This is a part-time evening position ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values consistency, and enjoys contributing to a professional residential environment. Key Responsibilities Cleaning & Janitorial Duties • Clean and sanitize common areas including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, leasing office areas, and restrooms (if applicable)., • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors., • Dust and wipe down surfaces, baseboards, windowsills, and fixtures., • Clean interior glass doors and windows., • Remove trash and debris from common areas and exterior grounds., • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners., • Maintain cleanliness of laundry rooms, fitness centers, mailrooms, and clubhouse areas., • Spot-clean walls and doors to remove scuffs and marks., • Maintain supply inventory and notify management when supplies are low., • Follow proper safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals. Grounds & Exterior Maintenance • Pick up litter throughout the property, including parking lots and walkways., • Ensure entryways are clean and free of debris., • Report landscaping or exterior maintenance concerns., • Assist with seasonal duties such as light snow/ice monitoring (if applicable). Light Property Management Support Duties • Report maintenance issues (leaks, lighting outages, broken fixtures) promptly to management., • Document and report safety hazards or code violations., • Assist with preparing vacant units for move-ins (light cleaning, trash removal, final touch-ups)., • Help ensure model units remain clean and presentable., • Conduct routine evening property walks to monitor overall community condition., • Support management with special projects as needed., • Maintain a professional and courteous presence when interacting with residents., • Notify management of resident concerns observed during evening rounds. Qualifications • Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred (apartment or commercial experience a plus)., • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision., • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills., • Reliable and punctual., • Ability to lift up to 30–40 lbs., • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures., • Good communication skills.
