Job Description:\n\nDirector of CoachingHighline Premier FC Highline Premier FC is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and forward-thinking Director of Coaching to lead the club's technical vision, coaching standards, and player-development framework. The Director of Coaching is HPFC's senior soccer leader and is responsible for establishing a consistent, player-centered approach across all teams and programs. This position directly supervises HPFC's Boys and Girls Directors of Coaching while providing leadership, standards, support, and accountability for the entire coaching staff. The Director of Coaching works closely with the Executive Director, program directors, coaching staff, and operations team to ensure that HPFC delivers a high-quality developmental experience for players from U8 through U19. The Boys and Girls Directors of Coaching serve as the primary supervisors and day-to-day leaders for coaches within their respective programs. The Director of Coaching directly supervises those program directors and remains responsible for ensuring that all coaches meet HPFC's technical, developmental, professional, and cultural standards. The Director of Coaching establishes club-wide expectations, evaluates program performance, leads coach-development initiatives, and makes staffing and program recommendations in collaboration with the Executive Director.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership and Club DirectionEstablish, communicate, and maintain HPFC's club-wide technical vision, developmental philosophy, curriculum, and playing principlesEnsure technical and developmental standards are consistently applied across boys' and girls' programs, age groups, leagues, and levels of competitionDevelop and maintain a clear player pathway from the club's youngest teams through its senior competitive programsProvide strategic leadership for the continued growth and improvement of HPFC's soccer programsEvaluate emerging coaching methods, player-development practices, and soccer technologies for appropriate use within the clubEnsure program directors and coaches understand how their work supports HPFC's mission, curriculum, and development modelMaintain alignment across teams competing in Elite Academy, RCL, WPL, and other approved competitionsProgram Director LeadershipDirectly supervise, support, and evaluate the Boys and Girls Directors of CoachingEstablish clear goals, responsibilities, and performance expectations for each program directorConduct regular individual meetings with direct reports to review staffing, team performance, player development, and emerging program concernsSupport program directors in managing coaches, resolving performance issues, and implementing club The Director of Coaching may also coach up to two HPFC teams. Each team assignment is compensated separately at a flat rate of $1,500 per month, or $18,000 annually per team. Depending on team assignments, the anticipated annual compensation opportunity is:Base salary only: $45,000 to $60,000Base salary plus one team: $63,000 to $78,000Base salary plus two teams: $81,000 to $96,000 Team assignments are based on club needs, coach qualifications, scheduling capacity, and approval by the Executive Director. Team assignments are not guaranteed from year to year. The schedule is not a traditional Monday-through-Friday schedule. Regular availability is required during weekday business hours, weekday evenings, and weekends. Hours will fluctuate throughout the soccer year. Some weeks may require fewer hours, while tryouts, tournaments, league events, staff development, and other peak periods may require additional evening or weekend work. Team coaching typically requires approximately four to twelve hours per week, depending on the training schedule, matches, tournaments, travel, and seasonal programming.
