Core responsibilities include data entry for accidents, OSHA injuries, scheduling and reviewing video, and submitting claims to IndyGo’s third-party administrator (TPA). The position also evaluates, monitors, and reports risk and safety performance and helps develop training procedures within the IndyGo training department. This position is responsible for administering safety standards and procedures for protecting employees’ safety and health. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the day-to-day administration of IndyGo’s Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP) and serving as a liaison with contractors and sub-recipients to meet Federal Transit Administration (FTA) compliance requirements.
