Job Description JOB SUMMARYThe Equipment Support Specialist serves as the primary customer contact for equipment service and support. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating equipment moves and changes, performing break-fix activities, and ensuring devices are properly configured and maintained. The position requires strong customer service skills, technical troubleshooting abilities, and the capacity to work independently while adhering to service level agreements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Client Relationship Management:, • Serve as the primary customer contact for equipment support and service., • Coordinate Move/Add/Change (MAC) processes., • Provide ongoing end-user training on equipment. Service Delivery:, • Perform basic device cleaning and replacement of operator-accessible parts and consumables., • Conduct break-fix activities (70% of role responsibilities)., • Provide IP address support and basic equipment problem diagnosis., • Download and install printer drivers; perform printer mapping to PCs., • Configure devices (IP address, scanning templates, user access levels, scan-to-file/email)., • Monitor/apply current software updates and patches., • Perform remote device monitoring and remote solve using client Device Management., • Manage non-client devices as required., • Proactively manage consumables and supplies using the DOS calculator., • Maintain on-site operator replaceable parts inventory., • Collect equipment meter information and submit for billing., • Perform data entry for activity and asset tracking., • Manage and maintain on-site parts inventory using PM4. Support & Coordination:, • Act as point of contact for equipment removal and delivery., • Contact client and third-party service providers as required., • Utilize client web-based applications for service call handling., • Accurately report calls in client designated systems., • Escalate printer network issues to appropriate resources., • Identify and promote client Office Solutions., • Participate in meetings and contribute to investigations of HSE or quality issues., • Perform other duties as required. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS, • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds., • Ability to read, write, and follow basic English instructions., • Strong customer service and communication skills., • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform duties with minimal supervision., • Basic equipment problem-solving and diagnosis skills., • Ability to resolve customer problems, including escalation when necessary., • Ability to coordinate work tasks to ensure fulfillment of Statements of Work (SOWs)., • Track and report account information as required., • 1–2 years of relevant experience resolving customer and equipment printing issues. EDUCATION, • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required., • Education verification required.
