Job Title: IT Asset and Procurement Coordinator Salary: $53,600 - $73,600 Directorate: Information Technology Location: Maxwell AFB, Alabama Reports To: Katrina Jackson, Deputy Chief Information Officer Position Type: Full Time Typical Hours: 40 Hours / Week Required Travel: Yes, <=10% Contractor: No FLSA Status: Exempt Remote Work Eligible: Yes Validation/Review Date: 8 October 2025 Summary The IT Asset and Procurement Coordinator administers and coordinates activities within the IT procurement function, ensuring the purchasing of technology goods and services is conducted in accordance with organizational policies. This position manages the entire procurement lifecycle, including initial request, sourcing, delivery, and renewal, and serves as a key contributor to the operational efficiency of the Information Technology department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Manage the full procurement lifecycle for all IT assets, including hardware and software, from initial planning and tracking through delivery, renewal, and disposal., • Conduct sourcing activities by engaging multiple vendors to evaluate pricing, licensing, and product offerings; review contracts and service level agreements in consultation with IT leadership., • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and issue Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)., • Administer and monitor IT expenditures using financial software, track expenses, and contribute to budget reconciliation efforts., • Maintain strong working relationships with IT leadership, Finance, Legal, and other staff to ensure alignment and compliance across all procurement activities., • Provide basic helpdesk support to end-users as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities: • None Job Qualifications • Education & Financial Acumen: High School diploma, with 5 years working knowledge of invoice processing through accounting software., • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and a solid understanding of software and hardware licensing, • Analytical Skills: Strong data analytics and reporting abilities with exceptional attention to detail., • Professional Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team., • Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines., • Background Check: The successful completion of a comprehensive background check is mandatory for this role.
