Job Description Sales Account Manager Rocky Mountain Laboratories – Las Vegas, NV About Us Rocky Mountain Laboratories specializes in molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases and toxicology. Position As a Sales Account Manager, you will focus on building relationships with primary care physicians, identifying new business opportunities, and presenting our services to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with door-to-door or business-to-business (B2B) sales, as well as strong communication skills, to drive revenue growth. This role will cover the surrounding Las Vegas metro area. This is a field-based position requiring frequent in-person client visits. It is not a remote or inbound sales role. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a territory-specific sales strategy to expand business in the Las Vegas metro area, • Proactively identify and secure new clients, with an emphasis on mobile physicians and geriatric care providers, • Generate leads through in-person visits, direct outreach, cold calling, and relationship-building — this is not an inbound sales role, • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals, • Deliver engaging presentations and product demos tailored to clinicians, lab managers, and executives, • Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline activity using a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), • Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs, ensure smooth onboarding, and troubleshoot concerns, • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory shifts in diagnostics, • Conduct onsite visits and frequent travel within your assigned region, • Provide follow-up support and maintain long-term client relationships for retention and growth, • Support marketing efforts, including outreach campaigns and promotional events, • Represent RML professionally in the community and with potential partners, • Proven ability to generate and close self-sourced leads without relying on inbound interest, • Minimum 2 years of recent hands-on sales experience — must be actively involved in prospecting and closing, • Background in B2B or direct sales with a proven record of generating your own leads and closing business, • Comfort with technology and digital tools to manage outreach, scheduling, lead tracking, and reporting, • Ability to work independently and manage your own territory with minimal oversight, • Must be comfortable with frequent in-person visits, local travel, and onsite client presentations, • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a relationship-building mindset, • Familiarity with using digital tools, including CRMs, Google Workspace, scheduling apps, and spreadsheets, • Willingness to travel locally within the Las Vegas metro area multiple days per week, • Healthcare or medical diagnostics sales experience, • Knowledge of molecular diagnostics, core lab, or toxicology testing, • Familiarity with CLIA and FDA regulations, • Experience in door-to-door sales or working with mobile physician groups, SNFs, or geriatric providers, • High energy, persistence, and a competitive mindset Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred but not required. All positions require time zone awareness, including the impact of daylight saving time, as we are a multi-state organization with teams and partners across different U.S. time zones. Clear communication and timely coordination are essential. Schedule: * Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a semi-flexible schedule. Job Type: * Full-Time Salary: • Base salary $75,000 annually for the first 3 months, then $55,000 annually., • Account managers are expected to be on track in their first 6 months to earn six figures in their first year of employment through bonuses.
