The Guest Service Captain orchestrates the service experience for hotel guests while working alongside coworkers to ensure that the site’s service standards are met or exceeded. Under the direction of the Account Manager, the Guest Service Captain has additional duties involving coordination and administration, as well as providing troubleshooting and/or guidance when the manager is not on-site. The Guest Service Captain is not a manager; however, they may handle critical issues and may be required to make judgment calls when expediency is priority. When issues are not urgent, they report information to the manager, provide the facts of the matter and seek instruction for how to proceed. Job Details Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The hourly base pay is $15.50 per hour plus tips Work Schedule: The work schedule for this position is open availability. Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously. Maintains accuracy and composure while under pressure to effectively handle guest complaints and difficult situations. - 20%, • Uses proper phone etiquette. Posts up in appropriate areas when not assisting guests or completing other tasks. Conducts an effective room presentation when providing bell services for guests. Assists with the delivery and pick up of items to guest rooms. Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries. Maintains a detailed knowledge of the client’s facility, including outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, main attractions in the area, parking rates, and other pertinent information. - 10%, • Promotes a teamwork philosophy through leading by example and effective communication skills. Leads the work group in delivering high levels of guest service. Appoints fellow associates to certain routine roles; Assigns coworkers to non-ordinary roles at the direction of the Account Manager. At the direction of the Account Manager, reduces staff during the work shift if business conditions dictate, using an approved method. - 15%, • Issues claim checks to guests only after receiving vehicle keys and collects vehicle claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys. Completes ticket information including key tag, guest folio, and location of vehicle, damage surveys and claim check receipt for all vehicles taken into the valet system. Secures all keys on a belt clip or in a locked key box. - 15%, • Ensures staff are not providing “lift” services to any hotel or hospital guest, only offering a hand for assistance. Checks wheelchairs for safe operation prior to each use and cleans wheelchairs after each use. Protects guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA requirements. Maintains the security of customer financial and identifying information. - 10%, • Assists the Account Manager as needed to build work schedules and makes calls on behalf of the manager to notify fellow associates of schedule changes or openings. Identifies and collects revenue for all vehicles. Completes accurate cash drop slips and cash drop envelopes. Completes the shift report and other shift paperwork with detail and accuracy. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Willingness to accept the most effective role * Welcomes guest by greeting, answering questions, responding to requests * Registers guest by obtaining or confirming room requirements, verifying pre-registration, assigning room, obtaining information and signatures, issuing guest room keys * Collects revenue by entering services and charges, computing bill, obtaining payment and establishes credit by verifying credit cards or obtaining cash * Conveys information to guest by receiving and transmitting messages, mail, faxes, packages, etc. * Provides a concierge duty to guest by answering inquiries regarding hotel and other services guest may require, such as entertainment, shopping, business and travel * Maintains records by entering room and guest account data * Makes hotel and other reservations by entering or telephoning requirements, checking availability, confirming requirements * Secures guest valuables by processing lost and found * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing projects/tasks as needed * Completes a nightly bucket check * Runs night audit feature in property management according to the property night audit checklist * Reconcile pay per view movie/game system with property management system * Print appropriate reports and distribute to management * Prepare front desk for upcoming day by removing departing registration cards, posting updated reports, etc. * Assist in completion of the daily for accounting – researching any out of balance amounts each night * Batch credit cards/gift cards and research any variance each night * Ensure operating systems balance each night and organizes credit card receipts by type * Research any balances in accounts nightly and check them in and out each night * Provide necessary daily revenues reporting to management each morning * Communicate to management and Front Desk Supervision of overnight details * Fill out Manager On Duty (MOD) checklist * Communicates with Supervisor for any special duties, or requests * Assists in other nightly processes or other duties as specified by management on an "as need" basis Qualifications: * 2+ years of customer service experience preferred; prior supervisory experience a plus * Ability to work all shifts, including overnights and weekends. * Excellent customer-oriented telephone etiquette required * Projects professional tone at all times and with the ability to quickly establish rapport with guest * Ability to multitask, insure accuracy, and remain highly organized * Ability to stand and/or sit long for periods during shift * Lift up to thirty (30) pounds, unassisted * Exposure to chemicals I have read and understand the job description of Night Auditor and understand management reserves the right to revise the job or require other tasks to be performed as assigned.

Job Description Wurzak Hotel Group is looking for an energetic, highly passionate Assistant General Manager for our 248-room hotel located at 1200 Arch Street across from the Reading Terminal Market, steps away from the Philadelphia Convention Center. Responsibilities The Assistant General Manager provides assistance to the General Manager in the overall responsibility for the successful operation of the hotel and for meeting or exceeding its financial objectives. This employee is responsible for the planning, direction, and management of accurate, timely, and objective financial data from which informed management decisions can be made. This employee will oversee the Rooms Division, Engineering, Security and Food and Beverage departments if applicable with the managers of each department as direct reports. This employee is responsible for exceeding operational standards, service, and product quality assurance, budget creation, maintaining expenses and cost controls. In the absence of the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager will oversee the entire hotel operation, and is the primary contact for guest relations issues. The Assistant General Manager is required to adhere to the mission and values of Wuzak Hotel Group. What you will be doing • Plan, Organize, Staff, Direct, and Control the Hotel and Operate the hotel in the absence of the General Manager following internal and corporate policies and procedures., • Develop maximum department profits through cost and labor control; maintain the highest standard of services to the guests, including the maintenance and cleanliness for the guest’s rooms and associated facilities; maintain the highest standards of security for hotel patrons and employees and maintain the highest standards of quality and service in the Food & Beverage Department., • Direct and Coordinate the Rooms and Food & Beverage Department. Carry out all policies and prepare reports as needed by the General Manager.
