Job Description The Sales & Merchandising Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the merchandising team through account management, product development coordination, and administrative execution. This position manages emerging and growth accounts while assisting senior team members with larger customer programs. Key Responsibilities: Account Coordination & Support • Manage emerging and growth accounts, focusing on accurate order execution, follow-up, and customer satisfaction., • Serve as a secondary contact for larger or strategic accounts, supporting Merchandisers and Strategic Account Managers., • Communicate professionally with customers regarding order status, sample approvals, and delivery timelines., • Build relationships that reinforce trust, responsiveness, and service excellence. Product Development Support & BOM Building • Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for quick-turn styles and custom programs, ensuring data accuracy., • Partner with design and sourcing teams to facilitate product development tasks including quote sheets, spec sheets, and sample tracking., • Support internal and customer-facing product presentations and assist in compiling merchandising documentation. Order Tracking & Logistics • Monitor order progress from development to delivery, identifying and escalating delays or production challenges., • Coordinate closely with operations, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery and system accuracy., • Maintain Time & Action (TNA) calendars and track critical path milestones to ensure alignment across teams. Administrative & Team Support • Assist Senior Merchandisers and Key Account Managers with administrative needs such as reporting, meeting prep, and file management., • Manage sample logistics, including organization, packaging, shipping, and inventory upkeep., • Contribute to internal projects, customer visits, and team presentations as needed. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Fashion, or related field preferred., • 0-2 years of experience in merchandising, account management, or product development (apparel or consumer goods industry a plus)., • Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with PLM or ERP systems preferred., • Strong communication and relationship-building skills., • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
