WHY WORK AT JOE & THE JUICE JOE & THE JUICE is a people-centric food and beverage company built around culture, not just juice, sandwiches, coffee, and much more. When joining us, you step into a high-energy community where the music is loud, the bar is your stage, and your personality matters as much as your skills. We believe in four simple virtues that shape everything we do: • Positive Attitude, • Inclusion, • Social Ties, • Growth For us, this means that when you choose a cup-half-full mindset, welcome people from every background, build real friendships across the bar by creating great guest experiences, and use every shift as a chance to learn something new — you become more than just a Juicer; like us, you continue to search and find purpose and meaning in what you do. From your first day, you'll be part of an international network of Juicers who support each other, celebrate wins together, and push each other to grow. You will learn by doing, move through a clear Moneyball career path, and be part of a company where most leaders have earned their stripes behind the bar (fun fact: over 75% of our employees started as Juicers!). If you love fast-paced service, music, people, and the idea of turning a job into a lifestyle, JOE can become a place to build skills, friendships, and a career that can take you across cities, countries, and roles. District Manager – Houston, TX At Joe & the Juice, we don't just run restaurants — we run a movement. Born in Copenhagen in 2002 and now spanning 450+ locations across 20 countries, we've built something rare: a brand where culture is the strategy. Because at JOE, strategy is not just about numbers. It's about people, culture, and creating unapologetic feel-good moments for our guests around the world. We're driven by four virtues that aren't just words on a wall — they're how we show up every day: Positive Attitude, Inclusion, Social Ties, and Growth. If that sounds like you, keep reading. We're looking for a District Manager to lead one of our San Francisco districts — someone who leads from the front, develops great people, and drives results without ever losing sight of what makes JOE, JOE. What You'll Do • Lead a team of up to 8–10 Store Managers to deliver outstanding guest experiences and hit growth targets across your district. Ensure every store upholds the Joe & the Juice brand — the energy, the standards, and the guest-first culture that keeps people coming back. Translate company strategy into day-to-day execution through consistent coaching, honest feedback, and hands-on leadership. Own the P&L for your district — overseeing planning, performance analysis, and cost management to hit sales and EBITDA targets. Build the next generation of JOE leaders by developing internal talent and attracting high-potential candidates from outside the company. Execute new company programs and initiatives in the field with energy and accountability. Partner with fellow District Managers to drive consistency, share learnings, and raise the bar across markets. * Maintain safe, healthy, and compliant store environments across all locations. What You Bring • Minimum 5-8 years of multi-unit leadership experience in food & beverage — this is a requirement A hands-on leadership style — you lead by example, not from behind a desk Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable Sharp analytical skills to read the numbers, spot trends, and make smart operational decisions A proven track record of improving performance across multiple locations * A genuine connection to our virtues — you believe in positivity, inclusion, building relationships, and growing people Why JOE Over 75% of our leaders started behind the bar — so when we say we invest in people, we mean it. You'll join a global community of Juicers who push each other to grow, with access to leadership development programs, travel and exchange opportunities, and a career path that can take you across cities, countries, and roles. One juice at a time. One leader at a time. Perks & Benefits • Compensation starting at 115,000 base salary + bonus potential (Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications) Medical, dental, and vision coverage with multiple plan options 401(k) to support your financial future Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays to recharge Company-paid life insurance and disability coverage Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and commuter benefits Employee Assistance Program for mental, legal, and financial support * Additional perks including employee discounts and pet insurance Joe & the Juice is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We're committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. We welcome all qualified applicants — no matter your race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, or background. ABOUT JOE & THE JUICE JOE & THE JUICE is a healthy fast-casual concept founded in Copenhagen in 2002; since then, we have grown to more than 500 locations across 20 countries and now employ more than 4,500 people worldwide. From day one, our ambition has been to prove that there should be no trade-off between taste and health. We serve high-quality, freshly prepared juices, shakes, coffee, and sandwiches in relaxed, contemporary concept cafés that combine convenience with distinct urban atmospheres. JOE & THE JUICE goes beyond products toward the full experience around the bar, creating a consistent universe for guests and Juicers in all our locations.
