Job Description TIMSCO International Sales & Account Manager (Inside / Outside Hybrid) Job Summary TIMSCO International is seeking a motivated and resourceful Sales & Account Manager to join our team. This position combines inside sales, outside sales, and purchasing responsibilities and plays a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable visiting customers, managing accounts, sourcing products from vendors, and processing orders from start to finish. This role requires someone who enjoys solving customer problems, building long-term relationships, and working in a fast-paced small business environment where every team member contributes to the company’s success. TIMSCO is a family-owned industrial supply company serving loyal customers across multiple industries. Our team works closely together, and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with the business and take ownership of their accounts. Key Responsibilities Customer & Sales Development • Manage relationships with existing customers and grow account volume, • Visit customers periodically to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities, • Prospect for new customers and follow up on leads, • Prepare quotes and convert opportunities into sales, • Source products from vendors to meet customer needs, • Build relationships with manufacturers and distributors, • Request pricing, negotiate when appropriate, and manage purchase orders, • Enter customer orders and purchase orders into the inventory management system, • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely fulfillment, • Track orders and follow through to completion, • Maintain organized account records and customer communication, • Stay informed on product offerings and industry trends, • Assist with special projects and operational needs as required, • 3–7+ years of experience in sales, purchasing, or account management, • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, • Comfortable making customer visits and developing new business, • Experience working with vendors and sourcing products, • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), • Experience with CRM, ERP, or inventory management software Education Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, but relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education. Compensation & Team Sales Structure TIMSCO uses a team-oriented compensation structure designed to reward both sales growth and smart purchasing. Sales team members receive a base salary plus commission based on overall company gross profit rather than individual account commissions.
