You will work alongside senior recruiters and industry leaders, learning how to identify, engage, and place top-tier talent across sales, underwriting, capital markets, operations, credit, and executive leadership roles. This is a production-based, performance-driven role with significant earning potential and a clear path to full-desk recruiting and business development. Industry Focus Areas • Residential Mortgage Banking, • Non-QM & Business Purpose Lending (DSCR, Fix & Flip, Bridge), • Private Credit & Real Estate Debt Funds, • Construction & Development Lending, • Asset Management & Capital Markets, • Real Estate Investment Platforms Core Responsibilities Talent Identification & Outreach • Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM databases, industry referrals, and market mapping, • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn messaging, • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates across mortgage and real estate finance sectors, • Conduct initial phone interviews to evaluate experience, production levels, and cultural fit, • Understand mortgage lending structures (RTL, DSCR, Agency, Jumbo, Construction, etc.), • Prepare candidate summaries and briefing documents for clients, • Track industry hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and production metrics, • Develop knowledge of lender business models, capital structures, and sales channels, • Support senior recruiters in managing search timelines, • Maintain detailed notes and status updates, • Assist in offer negotiation coordination and closing efforts What We’re Looking For Ideal Background • Bachelor’s degree preferred, • 0–3 years of experience in recruiting, sales, business development, or financial services, • Strong interest in real estate, mortgage lending, or finance, • Professional phone presence, • High energy and persistence, • Strong written communication skills, • Organizational discipline, • Comfort with outbound calling and networking, • Coachable and receptive to feedback, • Entrepreneurial mindset What You’ll Learn • How mortgage lenders generate revenue and structure capital, • Loan officer compensation models and production metrics, • Executive search methodology, • Negotiation strategy, • Relationship-based sales, • Market mapping and competitive intelligence, • How to build a personal brand within a niche industry Compensation Structure • Base salary + uncapped commission, • Performance-based bonuses, • Clear path to full-desk recruiting, • Six-figure income potential within 2–3 years for high performers Career Path Year 1: Candidate-side recruiting and search execution Year 2: Partial client exposure and business development participation Year 3+: Full-desk recruiter with independent revenue responsibility Top performers can advance into senior recruiting, team leadership, or business development roles.
