    Maxxterm LLC is seeking a responsible and dependable individual to join our team as a Pest Control Technician. This is an entry-level position, ideal for someone looking to start a career in pest control, as no prior experience is required. We provide comprehensive hands-on training to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this profession. Employees will receive a structured training program covering licensing preparation, field work techniques, safety procedures, customer service best practices, and pest identification. Starting pay is $15 per hour during the training period and until you obtain your Virginia pesticide applicator license. We offer paid training, opportunities for advancement, and assistance with licensing to support your professional growth. Key Responsibilities: • Perform pest control inspections and treatments at residential and commercial properties., • Safely apply pesticides and other treatment materials in compliance with regulations., • Identify common pests and potential entry points., • Assist with rodent exclusion and basic preventative measures., • Set and monitor traps, bait stations, and treatment devices., • Communicate professionally with customers and property managers., • Accurately complete service reports and documentation., • Adhere to company safety procedures and state pesticide laws., • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of equipment and company vehicles. Qualifications: • No experience necessary; full training provided., • Must be dependable, punctual, and eager to learn., • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team., • Strong communication and customer service skills., • Capable of working in various environments, including attics, crawl spaces, outdoors, and differing weather conditions., • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds., • Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for work documentation., • Must be able to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols., • A clean appearance and professional attitude are preferred., • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred, with potential assistance or alternative options available for applicants in the Norfolk area., • Employee must obtain a Virginia pesticide applicator license within 90 days of employment and successfully pass all licensing requirements during training. Preferred Qualities: • Experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping, cleaning, warehouse work, or customer service is a plus., • Self-motivated and able to maintain productivity without constant supervision., • Demonstrates attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills., • Willingness to grow with the company and learn additional services.
