    We are looking for an experienced and responsible Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team at our brand-new restaurant opening on the Upper West Side. Key Responsibilities Direct, supervise, and motivate the kitchen team. Ensure all storage areas are organized, properly labeled, and kept up to date. Maintain full compliance with all Health Department regulations and food safety standards. Ensure all food preparation follows company recipes, procedures, and brand standards ("How-To Cards"). Verify that all menu items are prepared consistently according to brand standards. Enforce company policies and kitchen procedures, including employee break compliance. Manage inventory and place food and supply orders. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Oversee maintenance and proper operation of all kitchen equipment. Ensure cleaning and sanitation standards are maintained at all times. Train team members and help develop a positive and professional kitchen culture. Monitor food quality, waste control, and kitchen efficiency. Trial Period A paid trial period will be required. The trial will last 1 to 2 weeks, depending on performance and experience. The trial will take place at our small Upper East Side location, where candidates will have the opportunity to learn our systems, standards, and procedures. Position Location Following the successful completion of the trial period, the Kitchen Manager will be assigned to our new restaurant opening on the Upper West Side.
