Job Description Project LeanNation is a leader in the meal prep and nutrition support space, and we're looking for a passionate, community-minded individual to join our team as a Store Manager in Training. About the Store Manager in Training Role As a Store Manager in Training, you’ll begin a structured 8-week training program designed to prepare you for promotion to Store Manager. You’ll gain hands-on experience in daily operations, team development, customer engagement, and community outreach—all within a mission-driven, wellness-focused environment. While this role is built as a pathway to leadership, promotion is based on performance, training evaluations, and business needs. Once promoted, you’ll be responsible for leading the store’s operations and culture—driving business growth, leading operational excellence, empowering your team, and building strong community connections that embody the PLN brand. What the Position Entails * Oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on excellence, service, and education * Create a welcoming, mission-aligned retail environment that reflects the PLN brand * Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team * Lead community outreach and local marketing initiatives * Manage store budget, sales goals, and inventory * Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational standards * Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively using platforms like Slack, email, and task management tools * Ensure exceptional member experiences through effective communication and high service standards. Qualifications and Requirements We’re looking for high-energy individuals who: * Are fitness enthusiasts or professionals, and/or are passionate about health, wellness, and helping others * Have prior experience in sales, retail, or customer service * Have an outgoing personality and are confident communicators with a high-level of professionalism * Pay meticulous attention to detail * Thrive in both team-based and independent work environments * Are willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Additional Requirements: * Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S. * Must have reliable transportation to and from the store * Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and work in a walk-in freezer * Comfortable working in an environment with bright lights and occasional loud music * Able to be on your feet and moving for most of your shift Additional details regarding job duties and selection requirements will be shared if you are selected to move forward in the interview process.
