Job DescriptionWarehouse Crane & Equipment Operator – Simplified Job PostingWhat You’ll Do • Operate cranes, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently., • Load and unload materials from production lines, storage areas, and shipping docks., • Use scan guns to track and document materials for receiving, inventory, and shipping., • Inspect parts and materials for defects and quality issues., • Use hand tools and measuring tools (including micrometers) to check dimensions and tolerances., • Move and stage materials to keep production running smoothly., • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe., • Apply basic math to verify counts, weights, and measurements., • Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for long periods (up to 12 hours)., • Follow all safety rules and maintain reliable attendance.What You Need, • Warehouse experience., • Experience operating cranes, forklifts, or similar equipment., • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long shifts., • Basic math and reasoning skills., • Ability to use measuring tools like micrometers., • Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency., • A reliable work history and willingness to work any shift.Preferred Experience, • Previous crane or forklift operation in manufacturing., • Experience in automotive or steel environments (uncoiling, stamping, steel blanks)., • Material‑handling support for production lines., • Clear communication skills and ability to explain past work experience., • Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.Why You’ll Like Working Here, • Stable team with long‑term employees and supportive leadership., • Climate‑controlled facility (around 74°ree;F)., • Hands‑on experience with cranes, forklifts, quality tools, and production support., • Opportunities to grow your skills in a safety‑focused environment., • Competitive pay and consistent work.Work Environment, • Automotive manufacturing and warehouse setting., • Work involves uncoiling and stamping steel blanks., • Frequent use of cranes, forklifts, scan guns, hand tools, and precision measuring tools., • Physically demanding: long standing periods, heavy lifting, and fast‑paced material movement. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX 78264. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
