Job Description Job Title: Welder & Fabricator - Repair- Hockley, TX Job Description Join our dynamic rail and tank car repair facility as a Welder & Fabricator. We are seeking dedicated individuals to perform welding and fabrication tasks in a newly renovated facility. This role involves 20% welding using MIG/Flux techniques and 80% fabrication and assembly duties. The position offers the opportunity to become officially certified for railcar repair. Responsibilities • Perform MIG/Flux welding and structural welding., • Engage in fabrication and assembly tasks, comprising 80% of the role., • Read and interpret blueprints for accurate project execution., • Cut steel using Oxy-Torch., • Fit up and tack weld components., • Proficiency in MIG/Flux and structural welding., • Ability to weld overhead., • Experience in railcar repair., • Familiarity with fabrication and production processes. The shift is from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of College Station, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
