Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description The Flooring Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and facilities. This includes overseeing product movement into and out of the warehouse, and assisting with loading and unloading. The role involves scheduling incoming product shipments, checking in and staging materials that are delivered, and maintaining the condition of the warehouse. Responsibilities • Assist in the safe unloading of all delivered products, ensuring that no damage occurs during unloading or storage., • Note all damages on shipping documents and obtain appropriate signatures., • Mark each carton received with the required information., • Monitor inventory stock levels, ensuring the availability of products needed for installation and customer orders., • Order new stock as needed and use available information to obtain the best pricing to support financial success., • Determine the final disposition of product returned from job sites in a timely manner., • Ensure no product leaves the warehouse without the proper paperwork., • Pull, stage, and assist with the assembly and loading of products to be delivered according to delivery tickets., • Ensure product is loaded safely and timely to avoid injury and damage., • Coordinate pick-up of materials with vendors, deliveries to job sites, and shipping arrangements as requested by other departments., • Complete Returned Goods Authorization for products when authorized by the manufacturer., • Train team members in product handling techniques and ensure minimal warehouse damage., • Supervise warehouse team members, providing training, coaching, development, and guidance on safety procedures and performance management., • Store all products in an organized, identifiable, and retrievable manner., • Supervise the maintenance of lift trucks and fencing, assisting with repairs when required., • Complete cut jobs for order fulfillment., • Work closely with the Flooring Operations Manager to resolve significant problems and assist with delivery and installation functions., • Serve as a liaison for documents to/from installers, such as certified payroll., • Assist customers and participate in weekly training and safety meetings., • Ensure the security of the warehouse and vehicles.Essential Skills, • Warehouse management, • Inventory control, • Logistics, • Shipping and receiving, • Proficiency with RF scanner and material handling, • Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, • Data entry and warehouse management systems, • Packaging and order selectionAdditional Skills & Qualifications, • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills., • Ability to tailor messages across a variety of audiences., • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships internally and externally., • Strong team player., • Demonstrates accountability, self-discipline, motivation, and initiative., • Problem-solving orientation with critical thinking skills. Work Environment This role involves working in a warehouse/shop environment, requiring attention to safety and effective warehouse operations. Job Type & Location This is a position based out of Albuquerque, New Mex Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
