Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist / Substance Use Counselor Insight Counseling & Wellness, LLC Hybrid (East & West Madison + Sun Prairie) Start Date: Immediate Full-Time | Exempt (40 hours/week) About Us Insight Counseling & Wellness is Madison’s premier clinic for body-based therapy, offering integrative, trauma-informed care to clients across the lifespan. Position Overview We are seeking dedicated, full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Therapists and Substance Use Counselors to provide psychotherapy and/or substance use services to a diverse client population. This role includes assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, with an emphasis on collaborative, client-centered care. We are especially interested in clinicians with experience or interest in child and adolescent therapy. Compensation & Benefits • Salary starting at $75,000, commensurate with experience, • Flexible schedule (in-person + telehealth options), • Generous paid time off, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • 401(k) with 4% employer match, • Continuing education reimbursement, • Ongoing training opportunities and professional development, • Full credentialing and billing services (valued at $20,000+), • Established referral network + built-in waitlist (no need to build your own caseload), • Free yoga classes for staff, • Supportive, collaborative team environment Key Responsibilities • Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services, • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, • Maintain timely and accurate documentation, • Participate in team meetings and case consultations, • Meet direct service expectations, • Represent the clinic professionally within the community Required Qualifications • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field, • Fully licensed in Wisconsin (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) and/or substance use credential (SAC, CSAC, or equivalent), • Experience working with children, families, and/or adults with mental health and/or substance use needs, • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills, • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, • Competency in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care Preferred Qualifications Training or experience in body-based modalities such as: • Play Therapy, • SAC or CSAC, • EMDR, • Yoga Therapy or similar approaches Why Insight? • Guaranteed salary while building your caseload, • Ongoing supervision and consultation with experienced clinicians, • A strong emphasis on body-centered, integrative care, • A workplace culture that values connection, growth, and clinician wellbeing Insight Counseling & Wellness is an equal opportunity employer.
