Job DescriptionDescriptionThe Senior Manager, Architecture & Design will lead the architectural vision and design execution for the Digital Practice Partnerships Program, creating innovative, patient-centered orthodontic environments that reflect the Invisalign® brand experience. This role owns the architecture and design process for new Invisalign-branded orthodontic practices and branded in-practice experiences. The Senior Architectural Designer will oversee third-party architects, millworkers, and other design vendors to ensure all projects align with program standards, brand guidelines, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate is both a creative design leader and operational project partner, capable of guiding design from concept through implementation while collaborating closely with construction management to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest design standard. Role expectations Design Leadership & Program Ownership • Lead the design process for the Digital Practice Partnerships program., • Develop design solutions for new Invisalign-branded orthodontic practices and branded experiences within existing orthodontic and dental practices., • Ensure all design deliverables align with program standards, brand guidelines, and the overall Invisalign patient experience., • Oversee and coordinate third-party architects, millworkers, and design vendors involved in project execution., • Provide design direction, review drawings and specifications, and ensure consistency with program standards., • Lead design presentations for participating doctors and practice teams, guiding them through each design phase for review and approval., • Clearly communicate design concepts, materials, layouts, and patient experience considerations., • Partner closely with the Senior Construction Manager to ensure seamless coordination between design and construction phases., • Review design documents for constructability and feasibility., • Develop and maintain furniture, fixtures, and equipment standards for the program., • Source and evaluate new FF&E options, finishes, and materials when requested or when program updates require enhancements., • Monitor project progress through each stage of design including concept, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation., • Ensure design deliverables meet required timelines to support overall project schedules., • Keep program leadership informed through regular design updates, milestone reviews, and risk identification., • Provide visibility into project status, key design decisions, and potential challenges., • Support leadership in scaling and evolving the design components of the program. What we're looking for • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or related discipline., • At least 10 years of experience with 5+ years of experience in architecture or interior design, ideally within commercial, retail, healthcare, or hospitality environments., • Experience managing external consultants and design vendors., • Strong ability to lead client presentations and design approvals., • Proficiency in industry design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or similar platforms., • Experience designing healthcare, dental, or orthodontic practices., • Experience with brand-driven environments or retail-style consumer experiences., • Familiarity with FF&E sourcing and specification., • Architectural licensure or NCIDQ certification. Exempt employees will receive their full salary during any week they serve and perform any work.
