WHAT YOU'LL DO* • Be the first warm welcome and a steady support, triaging incoming patients and helping guide them toward care, • Assist with treatments, nursing care, and diagnostics, from bloodwork and imaging to catheter placement and oxygen support, • Work alongside our credentialed veterinary technicians and veterinarians to set up and monitor anesthesia and sedation cases, • Set up and manage IV fluids, blood transfusions, and medication administration, • Assist during every moment of care: outpatient or inpatient, exam room to treatment area, • Join patient rounds and stay close to the clinical picture to ensure continuity of care, • Learn how to perform CPR and become a RECOVER Certified Rescuer (training provided!) Job Description IVIRMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking an Ultrasound Technician to join our growing Denver practice! Hours will be 4 days a week, 7am-4:30pm. Job Purpose: The Sonographer is responsible for providing detailed ultrasound imaging of the female reproductive system to help identify the causes of infertility and to guide fertility treatments. Essential Functions and Accountabilities: • Collaborates with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments, • Establishes personal rapport with patients, • Provides explanations of procedures, • Performs detailed sonographic examinations of female reproductive systems and identifies abnormalities, • Responsible for generating and documenting ultrasound reports for physician interpretation, • Procedure set-up, following all sterile precautions., • Performs and provides explanations of procedures, including Sonohysterograms, FemVue, and Ultrasound guidance for embryo transfers, • Tracks fetal growth and development up to 9 weeks gestational age, • Maintains ultrasound equipment, • Orders ultrasound supplies and keeps rooms stocked, • Travel to other Company locations as needed, • Completion of formal Ultrasound training - required, • ARDMS certification with OB/GYN specialization - required within 90 days of hire, • Previous experience in women's health or reproductive endocrinology and infertility – preferred, • Ability to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job., • Proficient in computer programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred. Job Summary and Qualifications Individual performs diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operates ultrasound equipment, and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Is able to provide care to his/her assigned patients and assures a safe patient care environment. Maintains technical skills and is responsible for using equipment to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety.
