Job DescriptionJob Title: Supplies Patient Care CoordinatorJob Description The Supplies Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for confirming orders with patients, ensuring accuracy, and addressing any questions regarding pricing or products. This role involves receiving and processing supply orders through the system for patients due for replenishment. Responsibilities • Utilize Bright Tree System to navigate NJ HMO websites, commercial insurance portals, and Medicare systems., • Contact insurance providers to verify benefits and coverage., • Assign appropriate codes in the internal system and submit required forms for insurance approval after delivery., • Print order details, pack supplies (masks, medications, devices), and prepare shipments., • Coordinate with USPS or subcontracted delivery services for timely home delivery., • Track delivery confirmations and submit documentation for insurance reimbursement., • Handle high call volume (100+ calls/day), including inbound and outbound calls to patients and insurance providers., • Maintain patience and professionalism when assisting patients, ensuring a positive experience., • Follow insurance-specific requirements for orders, including prior calls for approval when necessary., • Ensure all processes meet regulatory and company standards.Essential Skills, • Customer service, • Prior authorization, • Medical knowledge, • Data entry, • Insurance verification, • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferredAdditional Skills & Qualifications, • Prior insurance verification experience (Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance), • Bachelor's degree preferred; open to associate's degree, • Strong multitasking skills Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
