CDL-A Company Driver – Propane / Tanker Division Full-Time | Pittsburgh Area & Surrounding Region DHT Group is hiring experienced CDL-A Company Drivers for our Propane (Tanker) Division serving the Pittsburgh area and surrounding region. Headquartered in Reese, Michigan, DHT Group has built a reputation on safety, reliability, and treating drivers right for over 40 years. Many of our drivers live in or around the Pittsburgh region, and our runs are planned with that in mind. Who We Are DHT Group operates multiple divisions including Tanker, Gravel Train, Flatbed, Van, Excavating, and Landscape Supply. Our fleet is supported by additional full-service repair facilities in: • Newport, MI, • Port Huron, MI, • Bellefontaine, OH Our Tanker Division hauls propane, butane, and ammonia, and is licensed to operate throughout the U.S. and Canada. Position Details • Position Type: OTR (Over-the-Road), • Division: Propane / Tanker, • Primary Area: Pittsburgh region and surrounding areas, • Schedule: Partial weekend availability required, • Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced drivers, • Weekly pay (direct deposit), • Bonus opportunities (holiday, safety, and more), • Medical, Dental, Vision & HSA (after 30 days), • 401(k) with partial employer match, • Paid sick time after 90 days, • Paid vacation after 1 year, • Short-term & long-term disability, • Company-paid life insurance (buy-up available), • Legal Shield & ID Theft Protection, • Attach terminal hoses to truck connections to load propane, • Unload tankers using permanent or stored hoses, • Follow all safety procedures for transporting hazardous materials, • Complete all required pre-trip and post-trip inspections, • Operate equipment in compliance with state and federal regulations, • Transport loads safely and on schedule, • Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas, • Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment when required, • Maintain work orders, invoices, BOLs, and required documentation, • Communicate clearly with Dispatch, terminals, vendors, and customers, • Valid CDL-A, • Hazmat & Tanker endorsements required, • Acceptable driving record, • Strong safety mindset, • Ability to meet DOT and company standards, • 40+ years of stability, • Safety-first culture, • Well-maintained equipment, • Strong dispatch and driver support, • A company that respects professionalism and experience This is steady propane work for drivers who want a reliable run close to home, not constant bouncing around. Requirements: • Licensed CDL Class A Driver, • X endorsement, • Acceptable MVR, • 6 months to 1+ year of truck driving experience, • Subject to OTR - must be willing to work schedule (follows schedule of 5 days on 2 off unless on dedicated route) Preferred Requirements: • 1+ years of tanker driving experience preferred, • TWIC Card Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds repetitively, • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen, • Must be able to pass a DOT physical, • Must be 21 years old
