Job Description Position Summary: The Manager, Warehouse Systems & Operational Transformation is responsible for leading large-scale operational and system changes across warehouse environments. This role drives end-to-end change management for new system implementations, ensures successful user adoption, and continuously improves warehouse operations through process optimization, automation, and inventory control excellence. The position bridges technology, operations, and frontline execution to deliver scalable, efficient, and sustainable warehouse solutions. Key Responsibilities: Change Management & System Implementation • Lead change management initiatives for new warehouse systems (e.g., WMS or related platforms), including communication, training, and stakeholder alignment, • Develop and execute rollout strategies to ensure smooth system adoption across sites, • Design, document, and maintain comprehensive SOPs for warehouse processes and system usage, • Ensure SOPs are scalable, standardized, and aligned with best practices, • Monitor system usage and operational performance to drive continuous improvement, • Gather user feedback and translate it into actionable enhancements, • Lead warehouse transformation initiatives, including reconfiguration of layouts to improve flow and efficiency, • Oversee reslotting strategies to optimize picking paths and inventory placement, • Identify and implement automation opportunities (e.g., conveyors, robotics, scanning technologies), • Drive lean methodologies to eliminate waste, improve productivity, and enhance throughput, • Establish and enforce inventory control processes to ensure high levels of accuracy, • Lead cycle count programs, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning, • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience), • 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, or logistics, • Proven experience leading system implementations and change management initiatives, • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices, • Experience with warehouse design, slotting, and process optimization, • Familiarity with automation technologies and lean principles (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen) Company DescriptionWith over two decades of experience across the defense, commercial, and agency sectors, we specialize in filling the most challenging executive, technical, and professional roles.With over two decades of experience across the defense, commercial, and agency sectors, we specialize in filling the most challenging executive, technical, and professional roles.
