You will begin with training during day shifts for a few weeks to ensure a smooth transition. Responsibilities • Understand drawings to determine type of material, speed rate, and feed rate to be worked., • Safely load designated material on mill table., • Determine, select, and install proper cutting tool., • Safely set, operate, and monitor mill in accordance with drawings., • Inspect final work for quality assurance., • Re-stamp heat numbers as required., • Complete job order completion report accurately., • Proficiency in CNC and manual machining., • Experience with lathe and vertical turret lathe operations., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints., • Skilled in using grinding equipment and machine shop tools., • Experience with tooling and welding is advantageous.
