Position Overview Paragon Behavioral Health Connections seeks a strategic, licensed clinical leader to serve as the Director of Community-Based Clinical Programing. This pivotal role oversees a primarily adult-focused behavioral health programming across the Denver Metro area, including overseeing of an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team, Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), Community Action Program for adults (CAP); Outpatient Restoration Services and other services for individuals with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI). The Director leads multidisciplinary teams, supervised team leads and must hold an unrestricted Colorado clinical license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT or Licensed Psychologist). This role reports to the Chief Clinical Officer. General Purpose The Director of Community-Based Clinical Programs is responsible for leading the strategic development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Paragons adult behavioral health programs across Colorado with an emphasis on the Denver Metro area. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based services designed to meet the complex clinical needs of adults experiencing significant mental health challenges, including those with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) and Co-occurring treatment needs. The Director plays a key role in shaping programming that supports recovery, enhances community functioning, and aligns with Paragons commitment to accessible, trauma-informed care. Summary of Position The Director oversees a portfolio of adult-focused behavioral health programs, including Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), Outpatient Competency Restoration and outpatient services tailored for individuals with high acuity needs such as and ongoing community-based stabilization programs. The position includes direct supervision of two or more team leads and managing clinical oversight for partner organizations as well as maintaining strategic partnerships. This position will supervise teams including one overseeing ACT, CAP, IOP in collaboration with state behavioral health programs and the other includes intensive outpatient programs. The Director is responsible for clinical quality, workforce development, cross-agency collaboration, and ensuring fidelity to evidence-based practices. Youll join a mission-driven, multidisciplinary team that values transparency, collaboration, and innovation in care delivery. Team members regularly participate in cross-regional problem-solving, reflective supervision, and continuous learning. Key Responsibilities • Provide clinical and operational leadership for ACT (shared oversight statewide), IOP, outpatient competency restoration and other intensive adult programs., • Supervise team leads and clinicians, and support licensure supervision pathways, • Oversee and strengthen key external partnerships with community-based organizations, • Ensure quality of care through documentation audits, case reviews, and regulatory compliance, • Facilitate reflective supervision and foster professional growth among team members, • Guide treatment planning and service delivery for high-acuity clients, • Promote trauma-informed, culturally humble care practices, • Monitor program fidelity, outcomes, and data collection efforts, • Represent Paragon in cross-agency collaborations and strategic initiative, • Perform other duties as needed to support clinical excellence and program development Supervisory Responsibilities • Provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and supervisors, • Oversee staff onboarding, training, and ongoing licensure requirements, • Monitor staff performance and program-level accountability, • Provide after-hours clinical consultation on a rotating basis as needed Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Strong understanding of HIPAA, 42 CFR, and confidentiality policies., • Knowledge of clinical documentation standards, HIPAA, 42 CFR, and Medicaid billing, • Proven experience supervising clinical staff and managing licensure supervision, • Strong leadership, communication, and team facilitation skills, • Expertise in adult mental health, especially within SPMI populations, • Familiarity with reflective supervision models and field-based care delivery, • Capacity for critical self-reflection and commitment to supervision., • Highly organized, flexible, and capable of working non-traditional hours in field-based roles. Qualifications • Education: Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field (required)., • Licensure: Active Colorado license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist), • Eligible for NPI and CAQH registration for Medicaid service provision, • All licenses must stay up to date and valid during employment., • Experience:, • Minimum 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience in behavioral health, • Proven experience supervising clinical staff and managing licensure supervision, • Prior work with adult populations and inter-agency service models strongly preferred, • Capacity for critical self-reflection and commitment to supervision., • Language Skills: Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, • Other Requirements: Valid drivers license, auto insurance, willingness to travel to homes/communities.
