OPPORTUNITY The Finance Manager collaborating closely with the Director of Finance has the opportunity to shape and make possible the achievement of our long-term vision. To realize the envisioned impact on reform we must successfully create and execute our financial strategy as well as manage our day-to-day finances. Assess current financial and accounting processes and identify areas for improvement including streamlined processes that reduce time and errors from manual data entry and allow more time for value-adding analysis. Job Description We are currently seeking a building maintenance technician to join our team! This ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance of shopping centers throughout Los Angeles. The maintenance will consist of painting, cleaning, removing graffiti, moving furniture, power washing as needed, climbing up onto roofs to trouble shoot roof leaks and or HVAC issues as directed as well as responding to trip hazards and removing or dealing with illegal dumping or damage caused by patrons and or vandalism. The candidate will also at times be required to work directly with ownership and perform various maintenance tasks as directed. The ideal candidate will also be required to drive to other shopping centers within the company's portfolio as directed by the supervisor and or management regularly to ensure that the properties are clean, free of debris, graffiti or report any vandalism. This candidate should have a valid California driver's license, and a company vehicle will be provided during working hours. The candidate will ideally be bilingual English/Spanish, be punctual, reliable and be able to communicate effectively with other staff members, management and commercial tenants and outside vendors. This candidate should be able to multitask and prioritize work and any issues effectively. Job Description Southeast Unloading is seeking to hire hard-working unloaders (lumpers) to unload trucks, sort and stack product in a warehouse environment. Pay is $20 per hour. This a part-time position. Hours of operation is 7: 00 A.M to 330 P.M. Monday- Friday. This is usually a 4 hour shift 2-3 days a week. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Operates a pallet jack to assist in the unloading process -Removes product from trucks safely and efficiently, following all safety standards, procedures and processes -Coordinates with receivers and tow motor operators to ensure proper flow of inbound product -Hand-stacks all floor loads in appropriate manner with appropriate labels out, correct ti-hi's, and no mixed product -Regularly ensures that product loads are properly handled to minimize damage to products -Submits paperwork correctly and timely Wraps pallets to ensure stability when storing products -Assures quality on pallet condition PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS -Stands, bends, stoops, squats, reaches, twists, and otherwise moves continuously -Frequently walks throughout the workday -Frequently reaches above shoulder level to lift or otherwise move objects that weigh 30 -- 50 pounds and occasionally, 50-100 pounds when unloading and sorting pallet products -Pushes and pulls frequently -Functions and operates comfortably in a very active fast-paced environment -Endures extreme temperatures of heat and cold -Withstands loud noise and distractions 20/20 Vision with correction -Ability to follow verbal and written instructions -Basic English reading, writing and mathematical skills -Must have reliable transportation Once selected for hire, successful candidates will be required to: -Provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States -Pass a pre-employment drug screen -Consent to a criminal background screening ABOUT US Southeast Unloading is a third party logistics services provider headquartered in Northeast Florida.
