Role: Paula's Collections and Capsules Product Development Manager Reports to: Collection Senior Product Manager Location: Paris Permanent contract THE ROLE As Manager of Paula’s Collections and Capsules, ensure the development of collections from the handover of sketches with the Studio through to the transition to Production. Category – Woven: Category allocation may evolve depending on upcoming collections (Flou, tailoring, denim, outerwear, jersey). Development • Monitor prototype development and final launches in close collaboration with manufacturers;, • Proactively suggest new partners according to the Studio’s creative requirements;, • Anticipate feasibility, pricing, and industrialization challenges;, • Participate in fittings, work on comments and tech packs, Boms, and launch deliveries;, • Propose manufacturing techniques, with strong garment knowledge and mastery of technical language;, • Propose embroidery techniques and source materials for finished products;, • Maintain constant and smooth communication with the Studio to follow and translate all their requests and resolve any issues;, • Maintain ongoing and effective communication with Collection Merchandising teams to ensure coordination between creative and commercial needs;, • Update PLM daily, ensuring system accuracy and data reliability;, • Ensure accuracy of Boms and various tools such as Sketch to Fabric, Fabric to Sketch, and Prebuy documents;, • Ensure schedule follow up, delivery dates, and collection deadlines;, • Verify product compliance upon collection delivery, and collect/coordinate all product development information flows;, • Manage the handover of the collection to the production team during handovers, RDDs, and Industrialization;, • Actively participate in normalization fittings. Business • Update budget tracking tools and monitor invoicing;, • Negotiate and update prices and consumption at each fitting, estimate costs when needed for developments, and ensure margins;, • Ensure reliability of data: material costs, component costs, manufacturing costs, labor costs, and finished product prices. Daily Tasks • Attend and take notes during fittings, post-fitting and fabric/trims/embroidery meetings;, • Update PLM with post-fitting comments and Boms;, • Track trims and fabric order deliveries;, • Communicate with vendors;, • Coordinate with the Atelier for developments and alterations during pre-fittings, pre-editing, and pre-buying sessions. PROFILE • Graduate of a fashion or business school with at least 5 years of experience;, • Excellent knowledge of IT tools (Office / PLM);, • Organized, detail-oriented, with strong prioritization skills;, • Dynamic, agile, curious, and autonomous;, • Passionate about the fashion industry;, • Strong product sensitivity, attention to detail, and quality awareness;, • Good technical knowledge of garments;, • Excellent interpersonal skills, team player;, • Strong writing, analytical, and summarizing skills;, • Ability to work on collections in a demanding environment;, • Good knowledge of the luxury sector;, • Excellent level of English.
