Responsable Financement de l’Innovation Fondée en 2019, Groundspace est une startup deeptech du secteur spatial. Nous développons des solutions innovantes pour accompagner l’essor rapide des constellations de satellites et répondre à des enjeux critiques tels que la surveillance du trafic spatial, la gestion des interférences radio et la conformité réglementaire. Dans un contexte de forte croissance de nos activités R&D et de participation accrue aux dispositifs nationaux et européens de soutien à l’innovation, le financement public constitue un levier stratégique pour notre développement. Nous recherchons aujourd’hui un(e) Responsable Financement de l’Innovation pour structurer, piloter et sécuriser cette activité clé. Rattaché(e) à la direction, vous êtes en charge de l’identification, du montage, du pilotage et du suivi des financements publics et parapublics soutenant les projets d’innovation de Groundspace. Vous intervenez au cœur de la stratégie de l’entreprise, en lien étroit avec les équipes R&D, finance et partenaires externes. Responsabilités principales : Financement public de l’innovation · Identifier et analyser les opportunités de financement (subventions, avances remboursables, prêts, appels à projets). · Piloter le montage des dossiers de financement (Bpifrance, France 2030, RAPID, programmes européens) : o Cadrage et structuration des projets, o Rédaction des livrables techniques et financiers, o Coordination des contributeurs internes et externes. · Être l’interlocuteur(trice) privilégié(e) des financeurs (Bpifrance, Régions, services de l’État, institutions européennes). · Assurer le suivi contractuel, administratif et financier des projets financés (jalons, reporting, justificatifs, audits). · Contribuer à la définition et à la mise en œuvre de la stratégie de financement de l’innovation de l’entreprise. · Assurer une veille active sur les dispositifs publics de soutien à l’innovation et leurs évolutions réglementaires. Dispositifs fiscaux & programmes stratégiques · Contribuer à la rédaction des dossiers CIR (Crédit d’Impôt Recherche). · Gérer et suivre les dispositifs stratégiques nationaux et européens · Contribuer aux dispositifs de soutien au développement international (assurance prospection, etc.). Partenariats académiques et de recherche · Structurer et coordonner les partenariats avec les laboratoires publics, universités et organismes de recherche. · Contribuer à la définition de projets collaboratifs. · Participer au montage des consortia (rôles, budgets, coordination). Missions transverses – Appels d’offres (RFP) · Participer à l’analyse des appels d’offres pertinents pour l’entreprise. · Contribuer à la rédaction des réponses, notamment sur les volets innovation, financement, structuration de projet et partenariats. · Coordonner les contributions internes (techniques, financières, juridiques). · Veiller à la cohérence entre les projets financés, les partenariats académiques et les engagements pris dans les RFPs. Profil recherché · Expérience confirmée en financement public de l’innovation et projets collaboratifs. · Excellente connaissance des dispositifs français et européens de soutien à l’innovation. · Très bonnes capacités rédactionnelles et de coordination multi-acteurs. · Autonomie, rigueur et sens stratégique. Head of Innovation Funding Founded in 2019, Groundspace is a fast-growing deeptech startup operating in the space sector. The company develops advanced solutions to address the rapid emergence of satellite constellations and the resulting challenges, including space traffic monitoring, interference management, and regulatory compliance. As Groundspace scales its R&D activities and strengthens its position in national and European innovation ecosystems, public and para-public funding plays a strategic role in supporting technology development, collaborative research, and market expansion. To structure, secure, and optimize these funding mechanisms, Groundspace is seeking a Head of Innovation Funding to lead and professionalize its innovation financing strategy. The Head of Innovation Funding is responsible for identifying, structuring, managing, and monitoring public and para-public funding schemes that support the company’s innovation activities. Acting as the main point of contact with funding bodies, the role is central to Groundspace’s R&D strategy and long-term growth. Key Responsibilities: Public & Innovation Funding · Identify and analyze innovation funding opportunities (grants, repayable advances, loans, calls for projects). · Lead the preparation and submission of funding applications (e.g. Bpifrance, France 2030, RAPID, European programs): o project scoping and structuring, o technical and financial framing, o drafting of proposals and deliverables, o coordination of internal and external contributors. · Act as the primary interface with funding bodies (Bpifrance, State services, Regions, agencies, European institutions). · Ensure contractual, administrative, and financial follow-up of funded projects: o milestones and deliverables, o reporting and justification of expenses, o audits and compliance. · Contribute to the company’s overall innovation funding strategy in close collaboration with management and R&D teams. · Maintain an active regulatory and funding watch on public innovation support schemes. Tax Incentives & Strategic Programs · Contribute to the preparation of R&D tax incentive documentation (CIR). · Manage strategic national and European programs (France 2030, RAPID, European Framework Programs). · Contribute to international development support mechanisms (e.g. prospection insurance schemes). Academic & Research Partnerships · Structure and coordinate partnerships with public laboratories, research institutes, and universities: o identification of relevant academic partners, o contribution to the definition of collaborative projects, o consortium building, role allocation, and budget structuring, o coordination between internal teams and academic partners. Supporting Responsibilities – RFPs & Calls for Tender · Participate in the screening and analysis of relevant Requests for Proposals (RFPs). · Contribute to proposal writing, particularly on funding strategy, innovation content, project structuring, and academic or industrial partnerships. · Coordinate internal contributions (technical, financial, legal) required for RFP submissions. · Ensure consistency between public funding projects, academic partnerships, and commitments made in RFP responses. Profile Sought (Indicative) · Proven experience in public innovation funding and collaborative R&D projects. · Strong knowledge of French and European public funding mechanisms. · Excellent writing skills and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders. · High level of autonomy, rigor, and strategic mindset.
