Electrical Maintenance Engineer (4 on / 4 off – Days & Nights) Location: Walsall Salary: £58,700 basic | £60,000+ OTE + Overtime This is a well-paid shift role for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer who wants strong earnings, stability, and a structured shift pattern. You’ll be joining a well-established industrial site with a solid engineering team and consistent investment in plant and equipment. The role • Electrical fault finding and breakdown response across site, • Planned maintenance and TPM activity, • Repair and maintenance of plant and production equipment, • Supporting installations, upgrades, and improvement projects, • Working closely with the wider engineering team on shift Equipment and systems • Motors, pumps, and drives, • Low voltage control systems, • Three-phase electrical systems, • Industrial machinery and production plant Progression There are clear routes into: • Senior Engineer roles, • Supervisory positions, • Project and continuous improvement work The business supports internal progression and development. Requirements • Electrical apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, • Experience in industrial electrical maintenance, • Strong fault-finding skills, • Ability to work independently in a shift environment Shift pattern • 4 on / 4 off (days and nights), • 40.25 hours per week, • 16-week cycle This offers a good balance of working time and extended time off.
