Job Title: Recruitment Delivery Manager Public Sector (Gateshead or Manchester based) Department: Recruitment Travel Required: Occasional as required for role Reports to: Director of Recruitment UK Location: Gateshead or Manchester Contract Type: Permanent Job Summary / Overview We’re looking for a results-driven Recruitment Delivery Manager to lead and optimise high volume recruitment delivery within our Public Sector operations. This role is central to ensuring recruitment excellence, managing a high-performing team, and collaborating with sourcing and operational leaders to deliver quality hires at scale. You’ll be responsible for driving strategy, reducing dropouts and early attrition, and engaging in high-level conversations that shape the future of our talent delivery within your sector of the business. A key part of the role is developing and growing our Social Value recruitment strategy. The role requires you to be on site a minimum of 3 days per week in either our Gateshead or Manchester site. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (may perform other duties as requested not specifically addressed in this document) People Leadership & Team Management • Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters and coordinators to meet volume hiring targets., • Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement., • Own the end-to-end delivery of recruitment campaigns across multiple sites and functions., • Collaborate with the Sourcing Manager, Director of Recruitment and your operational partners/Hiring managers to align candidate pipelines with business needs., • Work to develop relationships with key strategic social value partners building these out across our key locations as well as in some cases nationally, • Use data and analytics in partnership with MI and the DWP operational team to provide a targeted approach, cultivating accountability with our partners driving growth and further success, • Partner with DWP operational leaders to forecast hiring needs and tailor recruitment strategy., • Act as a trusted advisor in workforce planning, talent trends, and market insights., • Implement strategies to improve candidate experience, reduce dropout, and minimise early 30/60/90 days attrition., • Analyse data to identify trends and root causes of attrition, and take corrective action., • Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment in a BPO or similar fast-paced environment., • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills., • Data-driven mindset with experience using key metrics to drive performance., • Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels., • Passion for delivering quality hires and improving candidate outcomes., • A pivotal role in shaping recruitment delivery., • Opportunities to innovate and lead strategic initiatives., • A collaborative, high-energy culture focused on impact and excellence., • Career progression.
