The Role We are looking for a driven Agent / Junior Project Manager to support early supplier engagement and assist in the delivery of works across multiple sites. This is a hybrid role with regular travel across Devon and Cornwall, offering a high level of autonomy and the chance to manage small-scale projects independently. You will play a key role in coordinating site activities, engaging with suppliers, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations. Key Responsibilities • Support early supplier engagement across multiple schemes, • Ensure full compliance with client SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) codes of practice, • Manage small works packages such as ground investigations and surveys at remote locations, • Produce and review RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements), Construction Phase Plans (CPPs), and quality documentation, • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, designers, and suppliers, • Oversee site operations to ensure safety, quality, and programme adherence, • Assist in planning, coordination, and programme management Essential Requirements • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), • First Aid at Work certification, • Background in construction management or civil engineering, • Experience managing site activities independently, • Strong understanding of buried services processes, • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, • Experience producing RAMS, CPPs, and quality documentation, • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Desirable Skills & Experience • Knowledge of NEC4 contracts, • Experience managing programmes and schedules, • AutoCAD experience Why Apply? • Work on meaningful environmental and infrastructure projects that make a real difference, • Be part of a respected, established organisation with a strong pipeline of secured work, • Gain exposure to a major framework and develop your project management capabilities, • Enjoy a flexible, hybrid working model with autonomy in your role, • Clear opportunities for career progression within a supportive and collaborative team This role is ideal for someone looking to step into a position with real responsibility, while being supported by an experienced and well-established organisation committed to your growth and success
