What You’ll Be Doing: • Rebuild, maintain and continually improve the ISO14001 environmental management system, including aspects/impacts registers, audits, training, and governance., • Develop and deliver environmental data capture and reporting across carbon (scope 1–3), waste, packaging, and regulatory metrics., • Lead compliance for key regulations including plastic tax, extended producer responsibility, hazardous waste streams, WEEE, F-Gas and more., • Identify carbon “hotspots” and collaborate with teams across fleet, packaging and operations to develop reduction projects and uncover efficiencies., • Act as the environmental expert for tenders, bids and customer enquiries, supporting commercial teams in positioning sustainability as a USP., • Build relationships across the organisation, influencing managers and site teams to embed behaviour change and environmental improvement initiatives.
