Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Sushi Chef. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing world class Sushi and exceptional customer service while ensuring a positive experience for our customers. This role is based at across our three sites 2 in Eastbourne and 1 in Halisham these sites are situated inside Tesco and Asda sites (Applicants MUST be able to travel to Eastbourne in Kent easily to be considered) Duties: • Lead with food preparation and culinary tasks, • Interact with customers to upsell and provide recommendations to increase sales, • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, • Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, • Previous experience making Sushi or in a restaurant or food service environment is required, • Previous Sushi rolling experience highly desirable, • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, • Familiarity with upselling techniques is beneficial, • Understanding of food safety guidelines and procedures is desired, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, • Competitive pay based on experience and performance, • Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company, • Bonus scheme based on company performance, • 28 days holiday (inclu bank holidays) Canteen Company pension Discounted or free food Employee discount Free parking Transport links Ability to commute/relocate: Across three sites 2 in Eastbourne 1in Halisham : reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: Food preparation: 1 year (preferred) customer Service: 1 year (preferred) Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required) Work Location: In person Reference ID: Immediate start
