Bostik UK is looking for an outstanding National Sales Manager – Construction to lead our field‑based team, drive commercial performance, and deliver sustainable growth across the UK. Reporting to the Divisional Sales Director – Construction, you will take full ownership of the Construction division’s sales, margin and cost performance. You’ll lead a team of Area Sales Managers and a Key Account Manager, focusing on coaching, development, and high‑impact customer engagement. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll spend significant time in the field, supporting the team, strengthening relationships with key customers, and ensuring we win—consistently and profitably. • Own and deliver annual sales, margin and cost budgets, • Provide clear objectives, accurate forecasting and disciplined execution, • Lead, coach and develop the field sales team to exceed performance goals, • Drive a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement, • Conduct joint customer visits to support, coach and elevate team capability, • Build and maintain influential relationships with key customers, • Lead strategic customer engagement to unlock new business opportunities, • Implement joint business plans aligned with customer and company goals, • Ensure successful execution of new product launches, • Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial and Supply Chain teams on growth strategies, pricing and market execution, • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, responding with clear commercial actions, • Champion the use of Salesforce, Power BI, SAP and BEX for data-led decision making, • Represent Bostik at industry events, customer meetings and internal forums This role operates within highly competitive, fast‑moving construction markets, where innovation and customer understanding are critical. You will play a key part in building a flexible, high-performing team capable of meeting evolving market demands while supporting Bostik’s wider UK business objectives. • Proven track record delivering sales growth in construction or building materials, • Strong leadership experience managing field-based sales teams, • Ability to coach, develop and drive performance through others, • Commercially sharp with excellent negotiation and customer relationship skills, • Highly organised, analytical and strong in forecasting and planning, • Resilient, results-driven and adaptable in a fast-paced environment At Bostik, you’ll be part of a business known for innovation, specialist product development and strong market presence.
