Join James Ray Recruitment as a Secondary School RE Teacher for a maternity cover position. We are currently seeking a dedicated Religious Education teacher to support a secondary school in the Liverpool region, starting ASAP. With continued demand for high-quality teaching staff, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while covering a maternity leave position. About the Role: As a Secondary School RE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging Religious Education lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will step into the classroom to ensure continuity of learning during the maternity leave of the regular teacher, maintaining high standards of teaching and supporting students in developing their understanding of religion, ethics and philosophy. You will work within a supportive school environment, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning space while encouraging students to think critically and respectfully about different beliefs and worldviews. What We're Looking For: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent • Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level (KS3/KS4) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • A genuine passion for teaching and student success • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles • Effective classroom management skills • Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and support staff • Ability to provide constructive feedback and assessment to students • Flexibility and resilience in a busy school environment • Commitment to continuous professional development Furthermore, you'll benefit from competitive pay rates and the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a supportive secondary school.
