About the Role Were looking for a Finance Business Partner (Development) to join our Finance this key role youll lead on all financial aspects of our development programme including budgeting forecasting cash flow projections and statutory reporting. Youll work closely with the Development team to ensure financial accuracy and readiness for security against funding requirements. Youll also manage grant claims monitor systems like Sequel and Proval and support the production of management accounts and board reports. This role requires strong Excel modelling skills and the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation. Key Responsibilities • Lead monthly monitoring and reporting of development spend targets and KPIs., • Maintain and improve financial systems including Sequel Proval and Brixx., • Submit and track Social Housing Grant (SHG) claims and ensure compliance with HCA targets., • Prepare development cash flow forecasts and ensure readiness for security use., • Produce accurate management accounts board reports and statutory returns., • CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant with development accounting experience., • Strong understanding of housing sector finance including grant funding and securitisation., • Experience with Sequel Proval and Brixx systems., • Advanced Excel skills and ability to create user-friendly financial models., • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills., • Flexible remote working with occasional travel to our Peterborough office., • Opportunities for career development and professional growth.
