The purpose of the QC Incoming and Components Analyst role is to compliantly perform Primary QC inspection, Sampling of raw materials, components laboratory testing, data review and data interpretation in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all primary and secondary packaging components. QC Incoming and components analysts will be required to support release of raw materials and components for use in manufacture. QC incoming and component’s Analysts may also be required to participate in technical and validation studies in support of both departmental and site objectives. The primary responsibilities of a QC Incoming and Components Analyst is to compliantly perform component testing, data review and data interpretation in accordance with approved SOPs. It is expected that analysts consistently work to the highest standards of cGMP (as defined in the EU GMP Annexes and FDA CFRs) and in accordance with the uppermost standards of HSE. In addition to testing, Analysts will be required to perform raw material and components inspection (quality receipt) and raw material and component sampling. It is the responsibility of QC Incoming and Components Analysts to communicate their findings as a result of testing/inspections promptly, to the QC Analytical leadership team (Team Coordinators and Manager). Specifically, it is expected that deviations (either out of specification results or compliance gaps) are highlighted to a leadership team member immediately as they are recognised. It is the responsibility of QC Incoming and Components Analysts, when assigned, to complete critical tasks such as: • Instrument Maintenance and Calibration, • Sampling booth cleaning and monitoring, • Initiation of deviations, • Initiation, and completion, of CAPAs, • Completion of Change Control actions, • Updates and reviews of SOPs, • Participation in quality risk assessments It is the responsibility of QC Incoming and Components Analysts to participate in laboratory administration tasks such as: • HSE risk assessment completion, review and adherence, • Archiving of laboratory documentation,, • Ordering of materials and consumables, • Maintenance of QC sample and reagent stores, • Ensuring a clean and safe workplace for all associates It is the responsibility of QC Incoming and Components Analysts to proactively maintain their own training records, and to only perform tasks that they have confirmed themselves to be compliantly trained in, in accordance with local SOPs It is the responsibility of QC Incoming and Components Analysts to ensure that they communicate professionally and effectively with their fellow team members and the QC Analytical leadership team. POSITION OVERVIEW TEAM LEADER Working alongside and leading a small team to deliver essential specialist plant and machinery maintenance and cleaning services to a diverse client base. Reporting to the Operations Manager, working in a hands on as well as leadership role, you will manage the relevant tools, supplies and associated paperwork; you will be customer-facing. Working in a hands on capacity alongside your team on client sites, using specialist equipment, occasionally in confined and at times challenging spaces Provide direction, leadership and mentoring to the team (usually two direct reports), ensuring achievement of the tasks assigned, managing labour and resources efficiently Maintain Health and Safety standards Monitor procedures and processes for the receipt, storage, transportation and use of tools and associated products; stock control; maintaining records for an equipment inventory using Excel Site audits, to ensure consistent levels of quality in our service and capabilities Plan and document projects delivered to ensure continuous improvement and shared learning amongst the teams and feedback to customers Ensure that customer requirements are carried out efficiently and according to each project assigned in line with method statements and operating handbook Collaborate with the wider teams to ensure a professional, smooth and efficient service is provided and best practice maintained SKILLS & EXPERIENCE TEAM LEADER Hands-on engineering, maintenance or similar/associated background we will be flexible provided you can demonstrate the appropriate desire to learn and suitability for the tasks assigned Able to demonstrate effective leadership, supporting employee engagement and motivation Previous experience of strict health + safety rules and regulations After the relevant training, the ability to work under own initiative without day-to-day supervision Indefinite right to remain in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship) Driving license (able to drive company vehicles) Ability to travel and occasionally stay overnight in hotels (average two nights per week) PACKAGE : Basic starting salary £31,000 increasing to £33,000 at completion of induction and training , plus £5,000 per annum allowances, plus overtime expected annual salary £38-45,000 + discretionary 10% annual bonus and excellent benefits .
