Responsibilities: - Teach learner drivers the fundamentals of learning to drive (vehicle controls and operations, vehicle checks, road safety, highway code, vehicle checks, parking, road signs, dealing with emergency situations, test preparation). - Teach newly qualified drivers who wish to advance their driving skills advanced driving courses (Pass Plus). - Teach Advanced and Intensive Driving Courses - Plan lessons and self-manage your diary of the day of when students will be taking lessons. - Keeping records of appointments and payments. - Monitor students progress, performance, and attendance. - Keep up to date with the latest driving laws, regulations, theory, hazard, and highway code changes. Skills: - Teaching learners and advanced drivers beginner and advanced driving skills. - Excellent customer service skills (speaking to new and existing students to book lessons). - Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations. - Excellent verbal communication skills. - Ability to work on your own. - Excellent attention to detail. - Ability to act and make decisions quickly. - Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to address challenges that may arise during lessons. - Ability to conduct basic tasks on an electronic device (mobile, laptop or tablet).
