Utopian Professional Recruitment are delighted to be recently appointed to work in partnership with an incredible client who is looking to recruit an ambitious Bookkeeper on a full time, permanent basis. Your main responsibilities will include: • Bulk processing of invoices, expenses and other financial transactions, • VAT processing; preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly VAT returns, • Working with a small portfolio of clients, • Bank and control account reconciliations, • Wages and other month end journals, • Promptly responding to client queries by telephone and email, • Filing and document management To be considered for this opportunity we are looking for the following background / experience: • A proven ability to deliver tasks to deadlines and within budget, • Enjoys working in a fast-paced office, • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to produce work of a consistently high standard., • Previous experience in a high-volume data processing environment, • Experienced in Excel and accountancy software packages, • Organised and methodical approach, • High standard of written and spoken English, • Comfortable working as part of a team as well as planning and being responsible for your own work, • Excellent customer service skills, • Professional attitude, • Ability to apply firm’s quality control procedures at all times.
