Role Summary To drive venue sales through proactive client engagement, outbound calling, rebook activity, and conversion of new and repeat business enquiries. This role combines coordination and administrative duties with a strong focus on proactive selling, ensuring every lead, enquiry, and client relationship is maximised. The postholder will contribute to yield management, accurate forecasting, and the consistent delivery of exceptional service that underpins Ashorne Hill’s reputation for excellence. This role is based 5 days per week at office in Leamington Spa. Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year depending on experience. We specialise in venue-based residential programmes, meetings, and events providing exceptional environments that support leadership, team development, and organisational growth. Key Responsibilities Sales & Conversion · Proactively follow up on all incoming enquiries, quotations, and pipeline opportunities to maximise conversion. · Conduct regular rebook calls and feedback follow-ups post-event to drive repeat business. · Manage outbound call campaigns to re-engage lapsed clients and stimulate new business. · Conduct professional showrounds, ensuring follow-up within 24 hours to secure conversion. · Promote and sell short-lead opportunities, weekend packages, and last-minute availability. · Support the Sales Manager during conversion days and targeted sales initiatives. · Record, monitor, and report on enquiry conversion rates, average booking values, and outbound call activity. · Prepare accurate function sheets and ensure seamless handover to Operations for delivery. Proactive Outreach & Business Development · Conduct daily outbound calls and personalised emails to target new and existing clients, aligned with sales campaigns. · Develop and maintain strong relationships with agencies, associations, and corporate clients to encourage repeat and referral business. · Participate in corporate drops, exhibitions, and networking events to promote Ashorne Hill and build connections. · Maintain and update client profiles to capture key contacts, preferences, and opportunities for growth. · Work collaboratively with Business Development and Marketing to support follow-up activity from campaigns such as Christmas, Introductory Offer, and Refer & Reward. Client & Event Coordination · Manage all bookings from enquiry through to operational handover, ensuring clear and timely communication of requirements. · Ensure all client details, correspondence, and documentation are accurately recorded within KX and CRM systems. · Handle deposits, invoices, and payments in line with credit and financial procedures, including conducting credit checks where required. · Liaise with Finance and Operations to ensure billing accuracy and delivery of contracted services. · Ensure all client feedback is captured, reviewed, and shared with relevant departments to drive improvement. Knowledge & Experience · Proven experience in venue, conference, or hospitality sales, ideally within a proactive environment. · Strong commercial understanding of yield, pricing, and conversion metrics. · Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence in outbound calling and client meetings. · Highly organised with strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy. · Proficient in CRM and booking systems such as KX, and competent in Microsoft Office applications. · Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while contributing to team goals.
