Key Responsibilities • Complete daily multi-drop delivery routes efficiently and safely., • Load, unload, and secure goods to prevent damage during transit., • Deliver products to customers on schedule while maintaining a professional attitude., • Verify delivery documentation and obtain proof of delivery where required., • Carry out vehicle safety checks before and after each shift., • Plan routes effectively to maximise efficiency and meet delivery deadlines., • Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, or delivery issues., • Handle customer queries professionally and report any concerns to management., • Follow all road traffic laws and company health and safety policies., • Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the delivery vehicle. Skills and Experience • Previous experience as a multi-drop delivery driver is preferred., • Full, valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven., • Good knowledge of local road networks and navigation systems., • Excellent time management and organisational skills., • Strong customer service and communication abilities., • Ability to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule., • Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying goods safely., • Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual., • Basic numeracy and literacy skills for completing delivery paperwork or using handheld devices. Desirable Qualifications • Experience using handheld delivery scanners or route management apps., • Clean driving record., • Manual handling training (preferred but not essential). Working Conditions • Full-time or part-time opportunities available., • Early morning, evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required., • Work involves regular driving, lifting, loading, and unloading of goods., • Uniform and company vehicle may be provided.
