The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring a large project or multiple smaller projects within the Company’s portfolio leading the project team to deliver on time, to budget, within scope and to the required quality and safety standards. Implement the plan, throughout the lifetime of the project, ensuring that progress is maintained in line with the objectives., • Report progress (SOFT Report) and financial status (PTS) to the Delivery Director on a monthly basis and attend all necessary Management Meetings., • To assess, review and actively manage risk., • Be responsible for the day to day management of the team, perform the appraisals of those team members, setting objectives and monitoring their progress throughout the year., • To assist the Marketing Department in the preparation and review of bids., • Ability to foster working relationships with customers and pursue marketing opportunities profitable to the Company., • To perform any additional tasks as required to meet the business objectives and goals of the business., • Support the selection of key suppliers to the project ensuring clear requirements and milestones are provided. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, • Ability to multitask and prioritise work across multiple projects., • A team player who is action orientated and who can deal with ambiguity., • Competent user of Microsoft Project and Excel., • Ability to obtain security clearance., • Full driving license, • Good communication skills and with the ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders., • Holds a recognised Project Management qualification such as APMP or its equivalent (desirable)., • Knowledge of the IT Defence Industry and Project Development Lifecycle (desirable)., • Understanding of Risk Tools and Earned Value Management & Analysis. (desirable)

As a Logistics & Supply Coordinator at G3 Systems Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the effective planning and execution of logistics and supply activities for both national and international programmes. You will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of shipment logistics—including Airfreight, Sea Freight, Road, and Courier services—ensuring that all movements meet project timelines and quality standards. This position is based at our Osprey Quay offices in Portland. Occasional national travel may be required, subject to prior agreement. This permanent full-time position with a salary circa £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. The Logistics & Supply Coordinator will report to G3 Systems’ Supply Chain Manager and provide comprehensive support across all phases of the logistics supply chain processes. Working closely with the specific programme and project delivery managers to ensure efficient project execution. The successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and initiative, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task ownership. A driven mindset and the ability to work independently without constant supervision are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities include: • Organise and coordinate the shipment of goods via air, sea, road, and courier services to support current and upcoming projects., • Track and manage project logistics, including goods receipt, defect reporting, dispatch preparation, and delivery follow-ups., • Ensure correct and compliant packaging of hazardous and sensitive materials., • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including project and programme delivery managers, to align logistics with project schedules., • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the supply chain process., • Actively manage delivery timelines to avoid project delays., • Support compliance with relevant export/import regulations and company policies, • In coordination with the Warehouse Coordinator ensure the following are carried out in the OQ Warehouse:, • Goods Receiving, • Defect handling, • Picking & Packing, • Dispatch, • Hazardous packaging, • Carry out analysis and summary of Supplier performance data in line with established metric requirements for the Supply Chain function, providing input into logistics planning and support supply chain improvements., • Ensuring all appropriate packing lists, shipping invoices and other export documentation are correctly raised as required., • Liaise with freight forwarders to obtain quotations for packing and transport activities (Worldwide) by air/sea/road and to progress shipments and documentation required., • Required to liaise and negotiate with new & existing freight forwarders to obtain best quality and value for money., • Maintain direct liaison with project managers to ensure all shipping and transport activities in support of project specific contracts and programmes are fully met., • Raise requisitions and Purchase Orders for Logistical requirements., • Assist in maintaining accurate Stock Inventory on Costpoint., • To maintain records and to lead on the procedure to regain Known Consignor status., • To improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department to ensure that materials arrive at their required location in good condition at the right time and presented in the right way., • To ensure good, safe working practices Qualifications Required: (Desirable where noted) • Computer literate, • Excellent Excel skills, • GCSE in Maths and English, • UK Level 2 Certificate in Logistics and Transport or equivalent (preferable), • FLT license, • Willingness to take on responsibility for First Aid and/or Fire Warden Duties (training will be offered for these elements), • Dangerous Goods License (desirable), • FLT Bin 1 License (desirable) Skills / Experience Required (Desirable where noted) • Experience and knowledge in export procedures, especially to restricted sites / foreign / armed forces operational bases., • Proven working experience in logistics - Minimum of 3 years logistics experience, • Must have good time management, • Have the ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions, • Have commercial awareness, • The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions, • Be flexible and have the ability to manage change, • Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team, as well as manage people, • Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, • Be able to negotiate and use analytical skills, • Maintain a positive attitude to continued learning, • Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements, • Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements, • High level of accuracy., • Flexible in the approach to work loads., • Proactive in looking for improvements, • A logical and systematic approach to work Remuneration & Benefits: • Salary circa £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience), • 25 days annual leave, • Life Cover (3.5x annual salary), • Company Pension Plan, • Full reimbursement of UK and international travel, accommodation, and subsistence expenses in line with company policy, • Complete international work-related medical and travel insurance, • Access to a range of salary sacrifice schemes and wellbeing support platforms
