HR Coordinator (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract) Location: Melksham, Wiltshire Salary: £30-£35K DOE Contract: Full-time | Initial 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (with 1 day per week working from home) \n Are you an organised and proactive HR professional looking for your next opportunity? \n We're recruiting for an experienced HR Coordinator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Melksham on an initial six-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a busy HR team, supporting the full employee lifecycle and helping to deliver a professional, efficient HR service across the business. \n The Role \n Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll provide day-to-day HR support while coordinating a wide range of HR activities. From recruitment and onboarding through to training and HR administration, you'll play a key role in ensuring employees receive a positive and professional experience. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Provide professional HR support to managers and employees across the business.\n, • Coordinate the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and learning & development activities.\n, • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, preparing offer documentation and supporting new starters.\n, • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance.\n, • Support the coordination of training and employee development programmes.\n, • Assist the Head of HR with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.\n, • Provide efficient HR administration and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.\n\n About You \n You'll ideally have: \n\n • Previous experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator or HR Assistant role.\n, • CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent HR experience).\n, • Experience coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities.\n, • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.\n, • Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office.\n, • The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.\n, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.\n, • A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.\n, • Experience supporting training and learning & development activities would be advantageous.\n\n What's on Offer? \n\n • Initial 6-month fixed-term contract\n, • Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (with 1 day per week working from home)\n, • Opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative HR team\n, • Varied role with exposure across the full employee lifecycle\n, • Ongoing training and development\n, • Modern manufacturing environment\n
